Remember, if you miss a minikit or such in a mission, you can always replay just chunks of each level to save time on repeat trips. For the most part, they are quite evident as long as you play each mission thoroughly. Some of these animals you might have unlocked during your story mode run, but if not, it's best to backtrack and quickly grab these dinos.
